Conocí a Alfonso en nuestro pueblo, Quero. Fuimos avanzando en nuestra amistad, por nuestro amor a la historia, a la lectura y a los viajes. Fue mi piedra angular en varios de mis escritos, y me escribió el prologo en mi novela "Donde descansan los vientos alisios". Con su marcha, quedó pendiente muchos nuevos proyectos. Se nos fue nuestra unión con el presente y pasado, pero llegaste tu y abriste una nueva puerta al futuro, y se que desde donde esté, estará muy orgulloso de todo lo que estás haciendo por él y el legado que nos dejó a su pueblo.
